Calusa Coffee Roasters is an excellent, little place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack. If I was local, I’d go here all the time. It’s clean, quiet, and the coffee is top notch. This would make a good coffee date spot. The coffee and homemade quiche made for a perfect breakfast. As the name suggests, they roast their own coffee, so they have beans for sale here too. High-quality coffee and syrups. Clean and quiet location. Limited seating.

If I could be friends with a cafe, this would be it. Calusa has a great chill home-y vibe with kind owners cultivating relationships with regular customers. This place is great for the serious coffee aficionado. The atmosphere reminds me of the Broward I grew up with when there were still more trees, less apartments and more cows around. There is plenty of shaded outdoor seating and cozy indoor seating. If indoors, you get to see where they roast their coffee. The food and coffee menu isn't extensive: it's a no-frills place that's serious about the coffee quality instead of making unicorn double-stuffed popping pearl lattes. And the food menu is small but everything I've tried has been excellent. I've had their cheese danish, banana bread, vegan empanadas, quiche and croissants. I've bought beans from them quite often too. The quality and the down-to-earth service keeps me and a lot of other people returning often. I truly love this place and every chance I get, I bring friends, family and my dog to hang out under the trees.

Honestly the coffee here is just so stinking good. It has so much flavor and it’s so rich and bold. I don’t know it honestly ruined my life cause it’s so much better than every where else I used to love 😭😭 go here if you want to officially be converted to a coffee snob but in the most down to earth atmosphere ever ❤️

I liked their coffee it’s freshly roasted beans every day, they have a variety of coffee mugs for each drink and I loved it 😍 they also have a backyard which is super cute 🥰 the couch 🛋️ gave me F.r.i.e.n.d.s vibe .home like atmosphere!

Former Marine, Cpl. Louis Arteaga is what I would call: The Standard Bearer, for roasted beans in this area. Beans that have a freshness taste and date roasted for ALL THOSE LATTE ART AFICIONADOS: (My sophisticated espresso machine asked for the roasting date) Present company included: I’m looking forward to making perfect shots for the many drinks my Breville Espresso Machine can make. Believe it or not an espresso martini selected on my machine is a whole process, that tastes like the best bar in town. Thankfully, after trying other places I found my new home at Calusa on Commercial Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. And if your a soldier march don’t run here help a fellow Hero out.

During my visits to Fort Lauderdale, I find myself here daily. This establishment truly offers an exceptional experience for coffee enthusiasts. The quality is consistently high, encompassing the coffee, pastries, and pies. They are the sole purveyors who maintain and consistently achieve such elevated standards. Having served as a coffee instructor in hotels globally for 17 years, I can personally attest to the remarkable quality of their coffee.

A really amazing coffee shop! This is the first time I’ve seen a café in the U.S. that roasts its coffee beans right on site. It’s something you’d usually find in Europe or Ukraine, but here it looks and feels very special. The place is warm, cozy, and full of character. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re driving along I-95. Definitely worth a visit!

Great coffee, beautiful place, nice people. I haven’t had such a good coffee in a long time. It’s a hidden spot. It was such a great surprise. I will definitely go back and bring some friends too.

Hands down the best tasting coffee I’ve had in a long time—rich, smooth, and absolutely perfect. You can truly tell they care about quality in every cup. The service was incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to feel that kind of warmth these days. And the space itself… just beautiful. Such a cozy, stylish atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and stay a while. So happy I found this place—I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
